Operating the machine

The fourth digit displays the amplitude setting as reference. Press the settings

button to increase or decrease the amplitude value during testing. When the

counter gets to 0, the device stops sieving and the decimal point ceases to pulsate.

5.8.2 Interval / pause function

• Press the SETTING / BREAK (B2) button once.

– Sieving and the countdown are interrupted.

– The LED break (Ab) lights up.

• Press the SETTING / BREAK (B2) button once.

– Sieving and the countdown continue.

– The LED break (Ab) is extinguished.

5.8.3 Stop / Stand-by function

• Press the START/STOP button (B5).

The time and amplitude will be reset to default values and sieving will be cancelled.

5.9 Setting the sieve values

The individual values are set in sequence. The respective menu points are

selected in sequence by pressing the SETTING (B2) button repeatedly.

5.9.1 Sieve time in minutes

A sieve time of between 0 and 99.9 minutes can be set.

• Press the SETTING button once.

– The LED setting (As) lights up.

– The first two digits for full minutes are displayed in the operating time (At)

display.

• Press the + or - (B3) / (B4) buttons to set the sieve time in minutes.

– Pressing the button once increases the value by one setting step. If the

button is kept pressed, the value on the display increases at high speed

(three steps per second). Once the value has reached “99”, the display

returns to displaying “00” and the setting for increasing values continues.

5.9.2 Sieve time in seconds

• Press the SETTING button a second time.
